Anoushka Patel

Biography
Anoushka is a second-year PhD student in Sociology at UCLA. She is interested in demography and health and education outcomes. Her previous research includes work using the Chitwan Valley Family Study to explore various research outcomes around health and education in collaboration with her colleagues at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
Prior to UCLA, Anoushka received a B.S. in Statistics and a B.A. in South Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago (2020). She also worked as a Strategy Consultant in the Life Sciences and Global Health industries at Accenture.
