Urban Sociology

Urban Sociology Working Group

The USWG is the hub for urban social science within the UCLA Sociology Department. Our objective is to improve graduate student urban sociological research. Monthly meetings typically work as forums for student members to workshop papers in progress and research proposals. We occasionally host local post-doctoral scholars and professors as guests to present ongoing work as well as talks with authors of recently published books in the field.
