We are a global online forum for critical global social science. Our project connects scholars across regions through four networks, each using a “close enough” time zone to allow for real-time collaboration. Each group holds regular Zoom meetings that are recorded and later posted online. The other groups hold virtual watch parties, where they view and discuss the group’s meeting, engaging in conversations across time zones. This model allows us to overcome the problems of creating truly global scholarly communities.
