I am a UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the department of sociology and the University of California, Los Angeles
(UCLA). Alicia’s research is situated at the intersection of the sociology of race and ethnicity and organizational sociology. More specifically, she researches the experiences of Black tech entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and Atlanta.

Alicia has a B.A. from Spelman College, an Msc from the University of Oxford, and an MA and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.
