Race & Ethnicity

Welcome to the Race and Ethnicity Working Group

Race is a fundamental feature of U.S. society. Despite its social origins, enduring material and ideological hierarchies based on race inform how we experience and understand the world around us. The Race and Ethnicity Working Group endeavors to provide a platform for the UCLA community to engage in the complex manifestation of these dynamics. We also hope to be a forum where students and faculty can exchange and sharpen their ideas. We invite all who are interested to join us.
